Immersion Electric Heating Resistors for Oil

Resistors for oil (lubricating, hydraulic, quenching) require a significantly lower power density than water heaters: mineral oils have lower thermal conductivity, and if the heater surface runs too hot relative to the fluid, localised "coking" of the oil can occur, reducing efficiency and creating a fire risk. Correctly sizing the power density (W/cm²) is therefore the critical parameter.

  • Reduced power density compared to water to avoid thermal degradation and coking of the oil
  • AISI 304/316 sheath with a finish suited to prolonged contact with mineral oils
  • ATEX certification when operating temperature approaches the oil's flash point or in the presence of vapours
